Please note: filling out an inquiry does not mean you have booked cookies. I am first come first served and since this is not my full time job, I am only able to take limited quantities each week. I do this for my sanity and to make sure my cookie designs stay up to the quality I expect of myself!

You will notice that my prices have increased. I have tried to keep prices affordable this past year but with the price of inflation increasing all my supplies, my pricing has had to be adjusted accordingly.

The Cookie Thief Bakery is a cottage food bakery located in Highlands Ranch, CO. I specialize in customized, artisan, delicious frosted sugar cookies to help you celebrate life’s moments, both big and small. I use premium ingredients and everything is made from scratch. My standard flavor is almond vanilla bean but seasonal flavors are available as well. Please see the pricing page for a complete list of flavors and pricing breakdown.

Since I am the sole baker/decorator, I request at least 3-4 weeks notice for orders with a minimum order of a half dozen. As I have become more “found”, my schedule is booking up faster- if you know you want cookies for something in the future, please let me know now! I am currently booking about 1-2 months in advance.

Teacher appreciation week ended yesterday and I hope all the teachers felt how truly grateful parents and students are for everything they do all year. My mom was a teacher and I watched her put in countless hours at home in the evenings and care so much about her students! Full set of these beauties because they deserve a still photo as well as the reel from earlier this week! Obsessed is an understatement. Hey All! Mother’s Day and teacher appreciation above! Here’s another sweet option that will be listed tomorrow for my Mother’s Day/ teacher appreciation presale. I made these for Mother’s Day thinking your kiddo could decorate the flower pot for mom but it’d also make a sweet non traditional teacher appreciation gift. SO excited to show this sneak peek of one option for Mother’s Day! The wording/ lettering is from one of my favorite shops @prairielettershop with permission. First time I did surprise cookies with sprinkles in the middle and I tried it with 2 cookies with the middle scooped out and the sprinkles sandwiched between. These beauties deserve multiple posts, let’s be real. Y’all voted Harry Potter birthday set to be the first from the archives! Here they are for two sweet sisters with birthdays close together who have gotten super into Harry Potter in the last 2 years! @lrnkriegs

Hi! I’m Jenica, the owner of The Cookie Thief Bakery in Highlands Ranch, CO (southeast Denver suburb). I have always enjoyed being creative and have been baking and crafting my entire life. When I changed jobs in 2020 and went back to nights, I decided it was time to pick up a new hobby to keep myself entertained on nights off- cookie decorating! It quickly grew into a passion and I am very excited to be sharing this with you! I have since transitioned to a day shift position as a Trauma Nurse Specialist at my hospital. This job is more hours/ fewer days off which has required me to take on a smaller amount of cookie orders each week. That being said, I still absolutely love making these cookies, having a creative outlet, and am still open for business!

Whenever I’m in the kitchen, my trusty side kick Pippa is there for moral support and to beg/steal whatever morsels she can! Anyone who’s been in Colorado for any length of time knows how crazy we are about our dogs and even though I don’t make dog treats, I desperately wanted to include her in the name of the bakery! (Shout out to my husband for coming up with it!)
